Yes it seems this is the year Apple really maps the whole world. The reason Apple has taken so long to introduce Look Around and other improvements is most likely because they are doing it right. Testing and researching how to do it properly takes years. You need a system that is going to function and can be updated for years to come. I’m pretty sure Apple is designing the whole system to be as robust and of high quality as they can.

Space-efficient?  Not really sure what that means in this context.  Since the headphones don't fold/collapse, the footprint would be just as large (if not larger) as the footprint of other headphones folded in a case.  Space-efficient doesn't make sense, and even it did (it doesn't) that wouldn't explain the open breathing strips at the bottom that leave the aloomineeum cups exposed to scratches.  The case is an oddity that defies logic imo.  As I said before, it's a miss within an otherwise decent product.

I think the "space efficient" part refers to the case itself, which apparently can be folded when not in use. I read another story on AI that mentioned that the case could be folded when not in use and that saves space from having a big box case.

Nice that they include the Helsinki area in Look Around. Too bad that I live in the north of Finland. I guess Apple’s strategy is to cover the major areas where people are and travel the most. Helsinki has had Flyover for a couple of years now, but every other city here is still missing it. Also the detailed maps are missing. I was suprised when they announced public transportation in Maps maybe a year back. There are only 5 million of us so what are you gonna do? 😅

As long as there is no portrait orientation option to create stories for Instagram and Facebook, it is going to be pretty much useless.

I have over 20 000 pictures, over 1800 videos and nearly 300 apps on my phone and never do I have to worry about running out of space. Everything syncs between my devices and everything just works. Until someone hacks (your) iCloud or the service is disabled or your network doesn't work.
Being dependent, while you don't need to be is a bad choice. 

How is having your data anywhere else any safer or different? My phone can be stolen, hacked, destroyed etc. Even if I keep everything on my Mac or an external ssd. My house can burn down or whatever. That is the most stupid reason not to have data in the cloud. Anything can happen. I could die if I leave my house but I still do ’cause I take that chance because I want to live a nice life.

Also I am pretty sure Apple has some very robust ways of backing up and securing my data.
