Apple again reported to be planning in-display Touch ID for 2020 iPhones

For a super secure mode, they could require finger print, faceid, and perhaps even voice recognition.
for a more flexible mode, require any one of those three.
PS: I'd also like my poison-finger option added so that a specific finger can lockdown the device and disable biometrics, but I don't see that happening when Apple still displays message info on a lock screen that has not been authenticated with a passcode after a restart.
I do like the concept of the poison finger, tricky part would be avoiding it accidentally firing it off. Although I do get that finger id is the norm and anyone under 40 does not give a shit about privacy.

'iPhone 11' camera & new 'A13' chip element will provide far better photography
here I thought the bump was ugly as hell, then they gave us the notch. now they are taking it to the next level; the hideous looking multi-cam. Just watching apple from the side lines these days, my last remaining apple product is my SE. Good thing apple does not need my annual 3k spend.
I can't see a SE sized phone coming, sad days ahead when it dies. there seem to be no more small phones in the market.

16-inch MacBook Pro release, MacBook Air updates predicted for September
Why bother repairing something yourself for $80 when you could buy a brand new machine with less storage than the one thats broken for $ 3K? pfft and screw replacing the $5 batteries on my air pods when I can just shell out couple of hundge for a new pair. I am young with the times and got money to burn. -
Review: Synology DS419slim is a versatile NAS in a compact size
Got the 918+. It is hardware purchase I have been the most satisfied with in the last 6 years. Pretty much a must have item, I would suggest pairing it with a compatible UPS. Amongst a kick ass video library tool, it also allowed my to ditch ITunes, iCloud and Dropbox. Sweet as 21 terrabytes of cloud storage.
If you are really paranoid buy another one and place it a different site, office / parents house and the NAS will replicate data.
Its a must have purchase.
