HomeKit bug affecting iOS disclosed by security researcher
There are well-established 'rules of engagement' for this in the security community. This researcher is simply following those, and surprise surprise, Apple is not. I don't know either. But we have no idea what changes have to be made to completely address this. The degree of exposure and likelihood of this happening probably doesn't mean Apple should drop everything and fix this one. Like they have with many others with active exploits.
Also Apple might have to first hire people to work on Homekit.

I don't understand why Apple does not put a couple of employees in those factories to oversee this. Seems like an easy fix to prevent this.

How long do you need the case opened for? If you close it it disconnects of course. -
