  • 'iPhone 12' enters mass production, reportedly no 120Hz ProMotion Display

That may be a deal killer. Other flagship devices, and even lower level devices have had this for many months now. For Apple not to is a big blow. For most of us, 5G is worthless. What will be the motivation then? The smaller battery if that rumor is true? Lidar which has little to no use for most people. Better cameras? The ones now are great.

Hoping for a good iPad or Apple Watch update I guess.

  • Apple to offset costly 5G iPhone components with cheaper battery tech

I must say, between the reported lack of 120HZ refresh rate, the lower battery capacity and unchanged notch I am very disappointed. 5G is a tech that rarely is available for most of us and is far less useful most of the time. This phone IF it’s as leaked will be a skip for me. Not understanding Apple’s skimping on a> $1000 phone.

  • iPhone SE returns to Apple's clearance store for third time in January

Absurd whining. Just because they aren’t aligned with your personal wants doesn’t all of a sudden mean they lack “values”. Get real.
Absurd whining? These are Apple's words. Their claims and statements. Unless the average human hand has grown significantly in the last few years how is what they said incorrect today? Mind you, I like the X / XS sized phone but his statement in that presentation is as true today as it was then.

  • MacBook Pro 'stage lighting' problem caused by tearing of thin cable integrated into displ...

At some point thinness comes at the expense of durability. When you make every component the minimum size you're gonna get problems like this and like the keyboard issues. Whether this one is real I don't know but the logic of going with thinner cables seems to fit with Apple's current pattern.

  • Editorial: Apple's iPhone strategy is bad for investors, good for consumers

Rose colored glasses and butt kissing. Quality has been sliding since iOS 7 and iOS 12 was barely a bump in the right direction. The Safari text editing bugs are STILL NOT FIXED. Now iOS 12.1.2 is killing WiFi.
Very true. Apple's software quality and ease of use have been slipping for years. I work in IT for a company and supporting Macs is a nightmare compared to Windows. Our users are in the field and get locked out regularly as expiration notification bugs that have existed for years still aren't fixed. That's inexcusable. Apple has no in house software to support Macs in the business world. JAMF is about it and it's very poor compared to Windows options.

iPhones only allow one MDM. That means our users who are working for a client company that requires an MDM have to choose who they get email etc from.
