  • A history of the iPad Mini, from life to limbo

We love our iPad mini's and have been waiting for a refresh.  We each have one on our nightstands for reading iBooks, games, surfing and listening to iTunes and never leave home on a holiday or to an outdoor event without them or our iPhones.  We don't want full sized iPads for our reading and travel. If Apple kill the mini off - we will buy Kindles and get ebooks and music from Amazon.  As to the iPX - these might as well be the last iPhones as they would be stand alone devices. While we still have Apple TV - we just bought Roku Ultra for additional channels Apple TV do not provide. And as for our MacBooks - well we likely will continue to use them at least for awhile as we move to an android world.  Apple will do what Apple thinks is best for Apple.  And we will do whats best for us and  move to other platforms that offer us the connectivity and synergies that Apple previously did and which is now so integral in our daily lives. In summary: killing off the mini will be a huge disrupter for our lifestyle.

  • All the new features in iOS 11.4: AirPlay 2, Messages in the Cloud, & much more

Will messages still remain shown on the iPhone when off-line without cellular, data or wifi service?  I may out of country and without any service for days on end but need to reference information in messages. There is risk for using iCloud for my messaging if I have no off-line use.

  • Senator calls on Apple to address Face ID privacy concerns

The Senator asked "what safeguards has Apple built into the system to prevent nefarious actors from unlocking iPhone X by simply holding it up to an owner's face. "

This is a question I am asking as well.  I would not purchase the phone without being satisfied that someone who mugs me or for that matter the police - could not hold the phone to my face and activate it.  Without an absolute safeguard and perhaps even a kill password my company sure won't be using it.  I am hoping Apple have this addressed and the Senator and the public will be satisfied that privacy is absolute.

  • Apple & Balmain partner on special-edition Powerbeats3 & Beats Studio Wireless headphones

Hello Apple, less fashion and much better sound quality should be the priority.  Returned a set of Beats and replaced with Jaybirds - which provide a vastly superior sound.
