All iPhone 18 models rumored to get speed boost from 2nm chips
With 2nm this means less power requirements. I’d think this opens some serious options for a new mini phone.
My 13 mini is still going strong but one day it will break and I sure don’t want anything bigger than this. Nor do I look forward to folding phones, whatever great breakthroughs are being made. I just don’t care. For me the mini is the sweet spot. I’d actually like it to be even smaller, like the 5S.
Ah well, it never hurts to keep dreaming, even if it’s in vain. -
Apple could have sold me an iPhone SE 4, but it won't sell me the iPhone 16e
You forgot to mention the most important drawback even though you did seem to go in that direction: the size of this 16E.
I also bought my 13 mini after hearing Apple was expected to terminate the mini sized phones. And here I am, surviving with my mini until Apple will realize the mini does have a lot of admirers. I won’t go larger and I won’t go the Apple Watch route (I’m a Withings guy). I just keep my fingers crossed and hope it works for years to come. -
Apple wants to put touch screens on every MacBook Pro metal surface
Just no fingers near my screen, thank you. Maybe some function keys can be replaced with keys containing an oled screen but otherwise, it’s fine as it is now. Please, no screens at the palm rests and do not replace the speakers with touch sensitive areas or oled keys. Do not sacrifice the sound quality of the mbp. Interesting ideas though. Keep going.

Twitter for Mac leaves the Mac App Store, but iPad X is still usable

Samsung's Galaxy Ring is out, but it won't be a problem for the Apple Ring
Pyper13 said:Samsung (or whomever) always tries to be first, rushing products to the market based solely on Apple rumored products.

Rings like Oura, Movana, Circular Ring and now the Samsung will help Apple developing theirs and launch it when it’s ready. Unfortunately the market often demands launching it just before it’s ready, turning first generation users into beta testers / guinea pigs.
I’m looking forward for a good ring, without an additional subscription. The Movana is promising but currently they only offer a ring targeted exclusively at women.
