Apple's stripping out blood oxygen sensing from Apple Watch enough to skirt import ban
Since the patent does not apply to Canada I sincerely and seriously hope that it’s a US only disabling of the feature. Heck - the US gets features that no-one else does or far ahead of others so it should apply in reverse. P.S. I still think Apple should buy Masimo. Problem solved.

Magnetic cables were a sleeper hit at CES 2024
I like this! I need long cables most of the time but other times they’re a pain. This would be handy for me. And I don’t care about fast charging as I mostly charge overnight.

Sounds like the right way to approach it. You also don’t want a bunch of randoms trying it out just for kicks and potentially braking something. Basically you want serious or just interested parties trying it on.
