  • False Flag: Social media erupts over Apple's predictive text Palestine blunder

If people type about the conflict in the Muddle East or in Europe the predictive text will learn the emoji and text that they use and start to ‘help’ the user with predictions. It’s not hard and not an issue until someone on social media makes it one.

  • Apple calls 128GB 'lots of storage' in new iPhone 15 ad

People forget that if you store photos in iCloud you have to still keep them on the phone. If you delete them they’ll also delete from iCloud. I have always purchased the 256 GB phone and only recently have I found it going above half-full. I have Apple One for the family so its 2 TB of storage means no-one will lose their photos. If the family helps pay it’s worth it.

  • Apple Vision Pro customers face a 25-minute in-store sales pitch

Sounds like the right way to approach it. You also don’t want a bunch of randoms trying it out just for kicks and potentially braking something. Basically you want serious or just interested parties trying it on.

  • US Apple Watch sales and import ban: What you need to know

I hear that an update to the phone (17.2.1) and watch is coming. I would NOT update your watch unless you know it doesn’t affect the blood oxygen function. In Canada we should not have to have that removed as the lawsuit is in the US. I won’t be updating for sure.

  • Apple bails out of troubled Toronto retail construction project

They even stole the name from a residential developer. “The one” was pretty much the most expensive house in the world.

These folks sound like a nightmare.

Originally supposed to be in 2020 then the pandemic delayed to 2021. Now it’s two years later?

They want to blame apple for the whole delay, simply because they were waiting on apple’s fancy windows?

Come on dude. The entire building could have been built and a glass facade added at the end. It wasn’t foundational or structural.

These folks clearly can’t manage a project, never mind their company. Sad sad story.
According to the Globe and Mail, they still haven’t built above the 40th floor and all creditors want their money. The South Korean lender wouldn’t give any more this time. The project is a mess and Apple was right to pull out.  https://globe2go.pressreader.com/article/281509345859763
