  • Munster: Siri coming to Beats, Apple to expand AR capabilities at WWDC

As for that “one hardware announcement,” I seriously hope it’ll be the iPad Pro w/ Face ID and less bezel. After having tried my friend’s iPP 10.5” for a few minutes, I got spoiled and all of a sudden my Air 2 feels like it lags and stutters (even though it doesn’t). And I’ve been holding off upgrading my Air 2 for some time now.

  • Apple employees in force at Display Week, vastly outnumbering rivals

It’s more than impressive how Apple wasn’t even known for its screen development capabilities just a decade ago and today they’re one of the best screen developers. I hope and surely believe they will keep up the good work.

It just keeps getting worse for the naysayers. Oh, and AAPL is now at 933 Billion market cap. What were “they" saying about Amazon getting there first?

your math is a little off, they are at $897B
No he’s actually right. Go open stocks app and look at AAPL’s market cap. It’s at 932.8B to be exact.

  • Kuo: Budget 6.1-inch LCD iPhone lineup could start at $550

$549 for a 6.1” iPhone sounds like a dream though. Just 2 years ago I got my 7 Plus Jet Black 128GB for a hefty $849. Of course the $549 one will come with 32GB of storage, but still. Hope this rumor turns out to be true. I’d gladly pay $649 for 6.1” & 128GB.

  • First look: Apple's new 9.7-inch iPad with Apple Pencil support

There are two things that came to my mind when I heard the news about this budget iPad:

    1. I know Sammy’s Galaxy tablets are already dead, but I just want to recognize them: RIP Galxy tabs.
    2. At this point, when the budget iPad packs all these features and performance while maintaining the price tag of $329, iPP pricing seems unreasonable and even a little ridiculous.

At $649, it’s roughly 2x the price of the iPad 6th gen, and I just can’t justify that price gap. I hope this year’s iPP would bring enough enhancements to make me feel I was actually wrong.
