Apple loses ground to Samsung in European smartphone market
The good news I guess is Apple still has lots of growth potential in this prosperous region whose nations (due to historic fatal abuses) put a high value on data privacy. Is Apple differentiating itself in ad campaigns much? More than those few billboards in Germany? I wonder if the heterogenous mix, for instance more users on Whats Ap or Telegram, also makes it harder for Apple to reach critical mass, as in US and Japan. -

Apple News is beginning to pay off for some European publishers
I signed up days ago for Readley, a Swedish based app that has a staggering international magazine collection, including US UK India Singapore. (Enjoyed a limited trial for a year, now they offered a 99 cent teaser rate, perhaps due to Apple News+) Hope both apps reinvigorate the field of well-considered words.
