  • Comparing the iPhone XR with the iPhone 8 Plus in the real world

For just $50 more to get an Xr, I don’t see how there can be much of a market for the 8. The X-ray is a much better phone. I recently switched from a 6s to an Xs and the notch is a non-issue. The only thing I miss is having the battery percentage at the top.

FacieID is incredible. It’s classic apple - it just works. Period. Now you can have 2 faces enrolled, so my wife won’t have to enter the pass code. There are some cases where I can see Touch ID being better (if you have to wear a mask, for example,) but Face ID is just so convenient and reliable that those are pretty rare
And in those cases you can simply enter your passcode :)

Let is know if you guys want any other comparisons to be done. With phones or certain features, whatever you’d like.

  • Taking a look at the rumors surrounding Apple's 'AirPods 2'

I have a first gen. set and love them...definitely will be getting the next ones, mainly b/c of the charging case! :)

One of the best purchases I've made in recent memory! :)

The AirPods are a uniquely Apple product.

Couldn't imagine going back to wired earbuds.

    Best.

P.S. Thanks for the review, Vadim. Really enjoy your vid's too! Just excellent! :)
    Thanks! Much appreciated :)

You focused mainly on whether or not people will be willing to upgrade to the newer AirPod 2s.   This ignores those who don't currently own AirPods and are interested in buying them, but might be waiting for the coming refresh.  The current AirPods seem to still be selling well.  Who is buying them?  First time AirPod buyers, I would imagine.  If this is the case, there should be lots of first time AirPod buyers who will be buying AirPod 2s as their first pair of AirPods.  They may be upgrading from wired phones.
One of the most important things I mentioned was that people who don’t currently own AirPods should definitely hold off on buying a set until the 2nd-gen AirPods come out.

We have an editing process here so I guess that part got edited out of the final script and I didn’t notice.

But yes, if you don’t have AirPods yet, definitely wait and buy the new ones! No tough decision to be made there :)

  • Review: Caviar's luxury $4,600 iPhone has more gold than purpose

    Why? God Why?

So, they took something as useless as wireless charging and replaced it with something even more useless in solar charging.

For the record, wireless charging will be useful some day on phones... but not today.  For example, if cars were made with an integrated charging pad to set your phone.
There have been cars with wireless Qi charging pads since 2013. There are now lots of cars that come with wireless charging pads.

  • Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 is over a year behind Apple's A12 Bionic, lacks a premium Androi...

I think I'm starting to understand how this works ...

By joining, one can only day positive things about the iPhone? One can't and shouldn't say or point to anything negative?

It's bizarre and sad - but I do understand :/
What’s bizarre and sad is your statement “They have this amazing fast chip - but lack on everything else”, which proves you haven’t a CLUE what you’re talking about, or are trolling, or both.

    Now leave.
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, no matter how much bias is behind it. There's no reason to tell him to leave.
