The EU is protecting a Euro based company from an evil American company. Any excuse Brussels can use to screw over an American company they will use. 

I just cannot feel any sympathy for Spotify.  It is not Apple’s fault they have an ad supported free level to inflate their subscription numbers that is not making any money.  Spotify is a Swedish based operation so they automatically have “Favorite Son” status with the EU. This is and a EU that hates American Big Tech’.  Spotify has been sued for lack of payment, failure to report play count correctly,  and so much more. Between Apple Music, Bandcamp, and SoundCloud I have all of my eclectic musical tastes more than covered. Spotify to me is the “Facebook” of music streaming. 

This is why I alway purchase Apple care. I also change out my primary iPhone every 2 years. I am a hamradio operator and I do repair electronic equipment. What we are faced with is counterfeit parts. I see 3rd party repair work for Apple devices flooded with cheap knockoff counterfeit parts. Even the most ethical repair shop is going to get these fake parts they are almost impossible to tell from real ones.  If I require work on anything Apple it will be Apple that will work on it. 

I don’t care what Twitter does I deleted my account and I will never return. 

And if they think the SCOTUS is going to hear this case.  LMAO
