AirPods Max just got the laziest and most disappointing update possible
As someone who already owns a pair... I'm OK with this update. They already sound and work great. And I must be one of the 1% of owners who actually like the case design. The only thing I want is the ability to do custom EQ in-device.
I'm OK with a future where obsolescence doesn't happen every 12-18 months. There's some really good reasons to get off of that cadence.

I’m just an average guy. Not too smart, not too dumb. That explanation doesn’t make any sense. Even though it sounds like it’s supposed to make sense.I’m representative of the kind of people that he has to make the case to. I’m not convinced. And I’m not buying a Rivian either.
