  • Nissan signals interest in 'Apple Car' following Hyundai exit

For such a major initiative, I cannot see Apple partnering with any Japanese based car company other than Toyota or Honda, as they each have industry leading technical capabilities, which Apple may likely require. Nissan, Mazda and Mitsubishi are 2nd tier, at best.

as for potential culture clashing ... see the movie Gung Ho, starring Michael Keaton

  • Apple rumored to invest $3.6B in Kia to produce 100,000 'Apple Cars' per year

All of a sudden, I want to know less about the Apple car.  My enthusiasm is draining.  Apple might want to consider taking control of the news narrative at this point.
Get Schiller out of retirement, a random internet person is losing interest in the rumors about an unannounced product!
With Phil Schiller being the 'car nut' that he is, I'm betting that he's not fully retired and has some skin in this game.

  • Apple Car US production reportedly assigned to Hyundai subsidiary Kia

Hyundai certainly seems to produce far better and quite competitive vehicles these days vs. back when they started selling in the U.S. ... but ... Hyundai being afraid of an Apple tie-in potentially hurting the Hyundai brand is truly hilarious

  • A14X Bionic allegedly benchmarked days before Apple Silicon Mac event

The semi obvious thing that isn’t being said here is that Apple has *complete control* of the processor design and OS for the new Macs, like they have had for iOS devices... thus, besides the usual compute logic within the CPU, there are all of the other optimizations that they are building into the silicon for Big Sur to take advantage of - many of which are known / have been explained... but, what else might Apple be planning?

  • Apple shuts down Epic Games developer account

My wife sells wholesale goods to retailers. With Epic’s logic, she should take her products, walk in to her favorite large retailer (WalMart), setup a table or two, and start selling direct.

    Sure, that would work great.
