Is a telemarker just a really long sharpie? ;-)

My newest iPad is an Air 2. It would be 100% sufficient if only it had more than 16GB of storage. Otherwise, it works great for what I use an iPad for: content consumption, music stand software, and some light gaming. My wife has an iPad 8, which is also more than she needs. It's effectively just a small TV that fits on her desk all the time. Newer iPads have amazing hardware, but almost everything I do on the go requires something that fits in my pocket, and if it doesn't then I use my MBP.

Given how little iPadOS makes use of the power of the Air and Pro chips, this price drop may actually have been the best thing to come out of yesterday's event. Sleeper hit?

I still have some of the rainbow Apple stickers. They are among my favorite collectibles. I'll miss the stickers being included with Apple products; some of them get replaced at about the same rate as my cars, and I almost always put a sticker on my car. I imagine the stickers will become more valuable if Apple stops including them with everything from now on.

If it doesn't cost too much, I probably would buy it to replace the stereo HomePod mini pair we have as our living room sound system currently. OTOH, our old sound bar took up a lot of space that we've enjoyed having back since switching it out.
