lol,  how true.  I just bought my first 6.1 inch screen and it is big.  Really don’t think I would want anything bigger than this.  Thinking the 5.8 size from iPhone X may be interesting size for them to bring back.

Because it’s insignificant especially compared to the features they are prioritizing, like a bigger battery, screen, etc.  The difference  is 4 grams.  You wouldn’t feel 10 times that difference 

I understand your point that 4 grams is not much.  But 40 grams is like the weight of two phone cases.    But anyway, weight is another reason I went with the lighter 15 model and not the pro
model.

One of my pet peeves is the case manufacturers that try to “shoehorn” the newer phones into last year’s cases.   I just bought an iPhone 15 and AT&T is promoting a Speck clear case.  I have the case and it’s nice but it is so tight on the phone.  This same case is marketed as being for the iPhone 13, 14 and 15.  Well it barely works in the 15, super tight to remove.  The 15 is bigger than the 14 and the 14 is bigger than the 13.

You should know by now that Apple will never do designs like that. First they’ll be copying what was done. And second it’s considered garish. 

But, to coin a phrase - “everyone uses a case”.  lol, so it would not matter.  But,  perhaps some people would be interested in a see through look.   If it’s possible.  There is a company that takes apart old electronics and then makes framed pictures out of them.  Perhaps that is “garish” to some.  But, maybe cool to others.
