Looking at that picture, I don’t see anyone on the fence. So some hard core Apple fans get some swag and Huawei gets some air time with a cheeky stunt. Tomorrow the world will have forgotten this, except for those with a free gift. I don’t think Huawei are so naive as to think they could have converted an Apple line squatter. A story about giving away 200 chargers in Singapore made it all the way to North America and beyond. In my mind, their plan worked. 

Will these same people appear before the Senate the following week for a hearing on “Examining Safeguards for Government Access to Consumer’s Private Data?

Remote Desktop App is $109 in Canada... Ridiculous! The only reason my parents are in the Apple ecosystem is because I can support them remotely. I have to use Team Viewer though. Apples free solutions are view only. I don’t need unattended access, just co-navigating. 

Try talking your aging parents through a change in system settings when you can see their screen but not control their mouse.  “click the blue OK button... No No No, not he Cancel button!” *facepalm*

Even though it’s generally known that Apple doesn’t profit from mining and selling user information, these committees HAVE to ask Apple how/what they collect. If only to document how Apple does things. This is actually a good opportunity for Apple to differentiate itself from the others. 

When everybody in a particular marketplace compare themselves to brand X. I tend to buy brand X. 

It’s the same with cars. Chevy once claimed they had better cargo capacity than the Honda Pilot. Chrysler claimed better highway mileage (not even combined mileage)  than Honda Pilot. Which would I buy?
