  • I replaced my Mac with my iPad Pro for a week -- here's how it went

Try using a car as a tractor. Yes it works, sometimes.
If blatantly failing Mac quality as of recent is the main inspiration to use an iPad for non-iPad activities, it says enough. People should be alarmed instead of accepting the inexcusable.
Revolt against the Cookette idiots instead of  following them with their wicked idea’s that only apply to the sheepy masses
Funny, isn’t it, how Apple products, including the Mac, consistently rank high in reliability, customer satisfaction, longevity, usability in every survey or study out there. But inside techie blogs  like this one every Mac is a piece of shit, every Mac fails shortly after purchase, anyone who buys a Mac is a mindless, ignorant sheep. Macs have features no one wants but are forced upon the aforementioned sheep. Inside techie blogs the Mac is the biggest disappointment ever foisted upon mankind.

Can someone please explain this to me?
The problem is that MacBooks still have great   characteristics but have lost their name and prominence after being bogged by the Cook- and Schillerism for so many years.
(referring to the butterfly keyboard, I guess we owe that disaster to Joni -  but it is the others who choose to maintain it...)

  • Apple stops shipments of iPhone SE, 6, 6 Plus, 6s Plus in India

The average annual income in India is pegged at $1790. No doubt raising the price of the iPhone will lead to greater market share there. Maybe Indians can find a way to give up both kidneys.

Cook should run for Indian Prime Minister, and increase the avge wealth tenfold before even trying to deploy his money mill there.

Most that invested every penny in Apple that Cook et al. can ever touch, know better than the current Board what they want in a laptop based on the state of the art.
And don’t need arrogant and spurious  instructions that are just as nonsensical as shortsighted. You don’t even have the faintest idea how many at some point will want to upgrade their measly or malfunctioning 128Gb SSD
Apple is not making commodity priced things. There are plenty of external storage options & 3rd party companies that you can get commodity priced computers from.
Derailing someone who expects premium functionality from an over-premium priced laptop to a commodity brand is just hilarious. You don’t have a clue what you’re talking about. Contrary to what Tim Dongle and yourself seem to think, the whole concept of mobility is NOT carrying around bags with dongles, external disks, accessoiries and crap

The elitists over in Macrumors & other tech sites are hilarious. They never stop to amuse me. Only 1-3% of Mac owners in the mid 2000s ever touched the machines' insides. The data was collected by Appleinsider. Majority of people want machines to be more integrated, as this allows for machines to be less error prone & more robust. This goes for MacBooks as well. MacBook batteries last 3-4 times longer than 2009, their motherboards have gotten more efficient, and native SSD storage is much faster. I get it some elitist geeks want to touch the insides, and move things around, but that wont happen with Apple. Please make your own laptops or desktops or go to another brand.
Most customers who invested every penny in Apple that Cook et al. can and will ever touch, know better than the current Board what they want in a laptop based on the state of the art - instead of your meagre reflections of that in 2009. And they don’t need arrogant and spurious instructions that are just as nonsensical as shortsighted: Your blatter lacks the faintest insight how many at some point will want to upgrade their measly or malfunctioning 128Gb SSD

  • U.S. to investigate planned French tax on Apple, other tech giants [u]

Tax-dodging multinationals have an unfair advantage over small local companies who can’t base their operations in tax havens.
I'm sure you don't claim every tax credit and tax break on your income tax form, because that would be immoral. Right?

How come you're allowed to claim every financial benefit but corporations aren't? Why are you special and different?

Apple doesn't own itself. Its stockholders own it. Little people. You probably have Apple stock without knowing it. Through your bank and your pension and your investments. You are Apple.
Your statements show an immense incomplete vision on contributions/benefits in general and taxes due but evaded by multinational companies (versus individual citizens) in particular when it comes to a global scale.
