So analyst is saying that analyst talk about expectations affected expectations in a bad way and in fact they should not let that previous analyst talk affect them and instead they should listen to the new analyst talk.

 I take it that Apple, and all other device manufacturers, should not use lithium batteries. Well that's going to be a tad inconvenient for the entire industry and consumers. Fact is the company does know a lithium battery is hazardous and have factored that into the design to ensure it can be used safely when used properly.

I think the choice in buying a smart phone is very clear.

You want a phone that runs iOS and access to the full Apple ecosystem - there is one choice, an iPhone.

You want a phone that runs Android and access to the Android ecosystem - there are MANY MANY choices. 

Apple have iOS and access to the full Apple ecosystem all to themselves.

The Android phone makers have to compete against MANY competitors providing a LARGE range of price points.
With that level of choice the $$$ will be a major driver when someone decides to go for an Android phone.

Agree with the others, this is a superb piece of tech and I use it today... with a smile. But agree with this post, the last iOS update negatively affected its overall performance.  Still, I will keep using it until it stops being useful. I was using my iPhone 3GS until mid last year, but eventually I had to retire it - managed to get to get 9 years out of it. I think that's impressive.

Some companies have a greater care factor than others. Some companies sweat on the important details more than others. Some companies set a much higher bar for what is acceptable than others. No one is perfect, but some companies make a far greater effort to achieve it than others.
