  • Video: iPhone X vs Galaxy S9+ AR Gaming -- ARKit vs ARCore

I wonder if this is an ARCore issue or an S9 implementation issue.

I've seen some ARCore apps on a Pixel 2 and it worked quite well.

The iMac is due for a redesign, having had the same design since 2007 (with some evolutionary changes). Apple is playing it too safe and other brands have proven to be really good at industrial design as well (but never had the same reaction as Apple).

No more chin but bevel-less. Something fresh and new.
I agree regarding the chin, it needs to go.

I like the minimal bezel design that companies like Microsoft and HP have gone with for their all-in-one computers.

You do realize those are just like having a Mac Mini with monitor stuck on top.
What does that have to do with the lack of a chin?

If the PC in the base is what's distracting you, here's another all-in-one from Origin that has no chin or hardware in its base.

Apple doubled the base memory of iPhone to 32 GB from 16 GB in iPhone 7. Since Apple is the leader in smartphone, all Android smartphone copycats followed.
Smartphones with 32 GB (or greater) base memory:
    • Nokia Lumia 930 - April 2014
    • Oppo Find 7 - May 2014
    • Blackberry Passport - September 2014
    • Samsung Galaxy Note 4 - October 2014
    • Google (Motorola) Nexus 6 - November 2014
    • Lenovo P90 - January 2015
    • HTC One M9 - April 2015
    • Sony Xperia Z3+ - April 2015
    • LG G4 - April 2015
    • Meizu PRO 5 - September 2015
    • ASUS Zenfone 2 Deluxe - September 2015
    • ZTE Axon - October 2015
    • Motorola Moto X Force - October 2015
    • Huawei Mate 8 - November 2015
    • Vivo X6 - December 2015
    • LeEco Le 1s - February 2016
    • Acer Liquid X2 - February 2016
    • BLU Vivo 5 - February 2016
    • Xiaomi Mi 5 - April 2016
    • OnePlus 3 - June 2016
I think just about every smartphone manufacturer switched their flagships to 32 GB or 64 GB base memory before the iPhone 7 came out.

  • 'iPhone SE 2' rumored to retain iPhone 5 styling minus headphone jack, launch in May

The report also suggested the adoption of the A10 Fusion chip in the device, which will enable support for HEIF and HEVC media capture.

    ...

A different report claims that the "iPhone SE 2" will come with the A10 processor, and 2GB of RAM, with 32GB or 128GB storage configurations. When the iPhone SE launched, it had the same processor as the iPhone 6s -- the A9. If Apple is looking at a design philosophy similar to the original iPhone SE, the "iPhone SE 2" may have the A11 Bionic, as debuted in the iPhone 8 and iPhone X.
Given the A11 already has considerable thermal limitations in the iPhone 8, fitting it into an SE device probably wouldn't have been a good idea.

The A11 is severely thermally constrained and is only able to achieve these scores when the devices are cold. Indeed as seen from the smaller score of the iPhone 8, the SoC isn’t able to sustain maximum performance for even one benchmark run before having to throttle.
