Apple lowers holiday quarter guidance on lower than expected iPhone sales
HAHA! Looks like Cook's strategy of huge profit margins and raising the price of all things Apple is starting to backfire. Now if only more people would refuse to pay these insane prices Apple might sack Cook and put an innovator in charge instead of a penny pusher. Not holding my breath though..... -
Apple expands iPhone XS and XR trade-in program countries around the world

Btw, I'm still using a BB9900. I'm not paying $800 or more for a damn phone!
If you think a smartphone is just a phone, then you’re not an advanced user. You’d be better off with a flip phone to call your wife with or whatever. -
Compared: Fortnite on the iPhone XR versus Note 9

Apple avoids iPhone ban in India by approving regulator's anti-spam app for download from ...
Cook and Apple once again talk a big game but when India or China threatens to cut off their big economies to them Apple bends over and grabs their ankles. So sick of everyone thinking Apple is the second coming or something. They are a "for profit" company that is driven by the almighty dollar and all that other B.S. Cook and the gang spouts about human rights, the environment, ect is just a good advertising campaign that the media has fallen for.
Long time Mac user but still using a BB 9900. -
The new Mac mini is a great machine, but a $499 model could serve a larger audience
Unfortunately Apple under Cook is way too greedy for that. The iPhone has convinced them that people are more than willing to pay crazy high prices for an Apple product so why should they release an iPhone or Mac aimed towards education or lower income buyers. If people stopped paying the crazy high prices then Apple would have to lower their margins. But until then Apple has zero incentives to make affordable products for education or anyone else.
