Apple lowers holiday quarter guidance on lower than expected iPhone sales
HAHA! Looks like Cook's strategy of huge profit margins and raising the price of all things Apple is starting to backfire. Now if only more people would refuse to pay these insane prices Apple might sack Cook and put an innovator in charge instead of a penny pusher. Not holding my breath though..... -
Apple expands iPhone XS and XR trade-in program countries around the world
The only way Apple will ever lower the price of it's iPhones is if people stop buying them. But Apple knows there's millions of suckers that need the latest and greatest and will fork down $1k or more for a new iPhone every year.
Btw, I'm still using a BB9900. I'm not paying $800 or more for a damn phone! -
The new Mac mini is a great machine, but a $499 model could serve a larger audience
Unfortunately Apple under Cook is way too greedy for that. The iPhone has convinced them that people are more than willing to pay crazy high prices for an Apple product so why should they release an iPhone or Mac aimed towards education or lower income buyers. If people stopped paying the crazy high prices then Apple would have to lower their margins. But until then Apple has zero incentives to make affordable products for education or anyone else. -

Apple sees Mac sales dip, marketshare increase in Q4 PC industry estimates
Cook and his motley gang don't understand that the vast majority of Mac users just want something that will run MacOS and be reasonably priced. Cook and Shiller are obsessed with over engineering everything that comes out of Apple and their Chinese factories. Just give us something that uses the latest CPU and GPUs and forget all the other crap like making it super thin and making it look like a freaking trashcan!!!!! -

Apple slashes iPhone XR prices for Chinese resellers in bid to kickstart demand
Apple needs to rethink their entire pricing strategy for all their products. It's just insane what they charge for even a simple 50cent phone case and $1 cable. Can't believe some people continue to pay these outrageous prices for their gear. China is saying no more to high prices. Maybe here in the U.S. people will start doing the same. Until then Apple will not lower prices in the U.S.
