  • How and where Trump's new tariffs affect Apple

I still can’t believe people voted for this moron. It’s sad to see the pathetic joke this once great country has become.
For many people through out the world, who understand the the risks of the current worldwide Marxist takeover, your country is seen as once again leading a global recovery.
I stand corrected. The bit about Apple's $500 billion being new investments wasn't the dumbest thing I've read all day.
That's ok, you have your opinion but time will tell. Remember how Neville Chamberlain's appeasement was proven wrong while Winston Churchill saved the day.

  • Apple is planning to make enormous design changes to iOS 19 & macOS 16

Can Apple PLEASE make UI elements fully SCALABLE for high resolution monitors!
    PLEASE!

    I recently upgraded to a 27” 4K monitor and it’s a nightmare.

Dialogue Boxes are postage stamp sized.
Menu Bar Items and text are all tiny.
Text on various application palettes are barely readable.

I’ve had to increase text and icon size in the Finder, but the Menu Bar and menus are tiny!
Finder prefs only work for ONE window. Size changes need to be applied to EVERY window I open.

If I go MacBook Pro without the external monitor, Finder elements are too big.

Apple has been promising scalable UI forever. Will they ever deliver?
I feel your pain. My daughter purchased a m2 Mac Mini when it first came out out. She used it with a second hand Display until it failed. Money was tight so she went with a Samsung smart display. She ended up taking the Mini to the store and asking their tech manager to fix the display or replace it with something else. It took the manager nearly two hours of fiddling around with display settings to eventually get it setup correctly. When you connect to an Apple monitor it just automatically sets itself up but another brand needs manual settings to make it work and they are in many different places. It can be accomplished through so keep trying.

  • Epic Games shifts EU app store strategy after missing target by 71 million users

I find it interesting that Epic states that it is a USA Company and seems to forget that it is owned by the Chinese. Or have I got that wrong? Apart from that issue he’s distorted so much information that I could never bring myself to trust any store associated with him.

  • Trump claims Tim Cook has committed Apple to massive US investment

    Only in America …
Why do propagate proven lies?   The ignorance of  A nation ruled by oligarchy is not a free nation.  Go ask Putin how that works out for Russia.
the last sentence demonstrates the stupidity of the arguments. Why would you ask the beneficiary (to the lies and propaganda) to tear down the very pillar’s of his success?
