I like this a lot. It would be easy to build wallpapers that made it look like a piece of contemporary jewelry when in resting mode. I’m thinking about some Art Nouveau examples at the moment, and they could easily be animated (or static, depending on your taste and the momentary mood or occasion.Michael1994 I envision a much larger, iPhone 5-sized wraparound bracelet-style device as in the attached picture (Created with ChatGPT) that doesn't need to be tethered to an iPhone but has all the functionality that an iPhone has.

Apple could have sold me an iPhone SE 4, but it won't sell me the iPhone 16e
Everything else aside, the $100 price difference between what was ‘hoped-for’ and what the 16e sells for amounts to $2.78 a month if one upgrades every three years … not particularly a deal-breaker IMO. I’m focusing on the features that make overall sense to me, and in my (83 year-old) case, I’m inclined to wait for the 17 (MagSafe + AI). But that’s just me.
