  • Apple TV renovation could kill iTunes Movies app in December

There is a whole tab for AppleTV+ content so not sure how it is hard to find that content. We have the bundle, so it makes it cheap to watch. Would not unsubscribe.

Took a bit to get used to watching trailers within the TV app. Apple was like we are discontinuing the trailers app and didn’t say anything about how to watch trailers. (Store tab and scroll down) As that was a point update, I’m not surprised to see further changes.  I wish they could incorporate movies and tv shows from the computer app into TV. Can we have an easier merge of content viewing for families? I find it annoying to have to go to family sharing to find our content. Yes I understand it was bought under their account. Also can we merge IDs in to one please? Why is that so hard?

  • iPhone 15 overheat complaints are inconsistent, and it's unclear what's going on

My wife hasn’t noticed any heat problems with her 15 pro.

Is there really that much difference in mass of the metal frame to consider it a design compromise for heat transfer? What about the difference in surface area of metal exposed to the air? A case would prevent air transfer of heat.

  • iPhone 15 Pro first to use new incredibly dense Micron memory chips

Don't need faster chips, denser memory chips, better cameras or higher def screens. What's there now is more than good enough. What I need, and what most of us need, is better battery life.
These chips have a 15% power efficiency improvement, which could allow for longer battery life, however is balanced out by other processes. Better cameras are a big deal to many people. There is a demand by pros and prosumers for faster data rates for unloading the phones. This might be a reason for the difference of data rates between the regular and pro models. Not the only reason.

This on device processing is also important for bad or no internet connection situations.
I dont have any issues of internet connection unless your in Timbuktu. W dual sim on different carrier helps a lot even in overseas. So this ON device processing is again an additional layer of availability of your request.
Congratulations, not my experience though. I've had problems in subways, large crowds, US National parks, and other real areas. Areas with no cellular signal are not helped by having dual sims. Many areas of the US have no cellular service. I spent two weeks camping this summer, and not a single bar of cell service. I had to drive for miles for cell service good enough to have internet.
I’ve been considering a separate Esim for uk train journeys. One on say 3 and the other on say EE. Looking at the coverage maps on ofcom, they compliment each others coverage. Thing is, not sure how fast switching between networks is, especially at 125 mph…
It has been over a decade since I lived in Europe, so I can't help you there.
