  • Apple cut too much by removing MagSafe from the iPhone 16e

So what? If you want MagSafe, buy a phone that has it.
While that's true it doesn't address the core issue of long established features not making it into new products. I have family members that use Apple products that don't read tech articles or comment on tech forums. Hell, I was surprised that two seemingly ubiquitous features are not supported.

Where do you draw the line between expecting that a new iPhone in 2025 supports tech that was introduced 4 years ago and telling some octogenarian that they're a dumbass for not knowing the iPhone 16e doesn't support UWB?
This is a replacement for the SEs. The SEs have never had MagSafe. It is only with this phone that they got FaceID.

There is nothing removed, just not added.
No one said it was removed. You brought it up. The issue is that the tech has been commonplace for many years, has a lot of additional upsell for Apple accessories that support MagSafe, and the iPhone SE (3rd gen) came out 3 years ago which is why it made sense then that it didn't include what was then a newer feature.
In the title of the article said magSafe was removed, so no *I* didn't bring it up. It has been commonplace for multi-camerias on the back for years, but that didn't make it either. You know why? Because this is the lowest cost new iPhone. The issue is people assumed Apple would give all these upgrades with no cost increase, despite inflation, which would eat into the sales of the other phones. Apple is a business and the name of the game is getting people to buy more expensive phones.

  • Apple is already working on visionOS 3.0 and visionOS 2.4

This is indeed good news. Vision Pro in its current form is clearly not a commercially viable product. It was rushed out the door to deflect from the demise of the Apple Car. That said, it still comprised of the best quality materials and construction - vintage Apple - but at $3500 per unit it was way too expensive.

If VisionOS 3.0 means the Apple buyers will be getting a streamlined version of Vision Pro with a head band like Resmed's Kontour, features to boot and content and use case to make it compelling, especially at $1995 a unit. I am in. Perhaps 2026 will be the year that Apple defines the standard for Mixed Reality headsets the way that it did for  Smartphones, Tablets, Wireless earbuds, Music, Watches etc. etc. etc.

And perhaps 2026 will be the year that Apple resurrects the Apple Car as Software to manage EVs worldwide regardless of the car manufacturer.

These are indicators newer versions of Vision OS is being worked on already, not any indicator of what the hardware will be, nor the cost point. Apple always has to work on new versions early. It is just Apple slipped up a little and reveled that they are working on them.

  • Snoopy screensavers arrive on Apple TV with tvOS 18.2

https://support.apple.com/en-us/106336  Apple TV support document says the new feature are 4k gen 2 and above. I can see that about some features like AI, but why can't the screensaver work on get 1?

  • Half of Apple developers have doubts about making Apple Vision Pro apps

The AVP being so niche, it’s a big risk to develop for without losing money.

However, most of these developers have iOS apps already. The least they could do is launch their iPad apps and then gushed interest via usage patterns.

but unless you’re making games, headsets just aren’t the way people want to work or be entertained. No amount of apps will change that.
For you, this is the case. This is not the case for many people. There are many people and articles saying they like the headset for work or entertainment.
