  • It looks like Samsung is cheating on 'space zoom' moon photos

You can't defend this. These are faked photos. The article is about testing using a blurred photo of the moon and Samsung phone come out with a sharp version of that phone. That is physically impossible to do. The information from what the camera took isn't there to make a real sharp photo. Samsung is using AI to do photoshop with moon shots.

  • iPhone SE 4 development lurches back to life with new tech

If right, that means FaceID instead of TouchID, and MagSafe charging. Sounds like it will not be so cheap, which is the main feature of the SE. I still hope for touchID to be included.

  • iPhone 15 to require certified accessories for full access to USB-C

There are cables that look normal and yet have built in snooping ability. It would be silly to trust every cable.

  • macOS & iOS bug could start a new wave of exploits

Apple has fixed it, however there are many people who will not upgrade and there are people who cannot upgrade.

  • Intel has a faster processor than M2 Max, but at what cost?

Users who want this kind of performance don't really care that much about having to plug in their laptop. They are not going do their expert magic at Star Bucks. Instead they might work at home or at a co-working space where outlets aren't exactly an issue.

Yes, it all might be less elegant than a Mac, but the raw power offered here for the dollars paid is much better value than an M2 Max.
The Mac cost less. Yes people do want the ability to work on a laptop without it being plugged in. That is the whole point of the laptop form. There isn’t always power on flights or trains, so battery power is an issue. What about waiting in airport terminals or train stations? What about power outages? Who thinks it is a good idea to require a UPS for a laptop to ensure full power and the job is completed? Did you figure in the cost of a UPS as part of the price? Then there is the weight, which the Mac was much less than the other luggable.
