  • 'Total War: Warhammer III' coming to Apple Silicon - but not Intel Macs

Strange that they don’t support currently sold machines.  I can see dropping Intel in a few years after the last one is sold and the installed base has gone down  I would bet your installed base of Macs today is still Intel-heavy.
I think they did it for several reasons. One is they now they have a known minimum baseline for Macs that can handle the game. Two is the additional code needed for Intel Macs is additional time and money plus support. Three is less need for Rosetta 2, which at some point will be removed by Apple.

  • Apple warns developers it will pull apps without recent updates from the App Store

People are not loosing access to apps they have downloaded even if these apps are removed. These apps haven’t been updated in two years! This means the privacy notice is not on the App Store of what the app will do with our private data. Further the app isn’t following current guidelines, privacy and we don’t know about security. Old code can have bad bugs and isn’t optimized for newer devices. Yes it can be a pain to update the apps, but it is also a pain for users who download nonfunctional apps.

  • Netflix blames account sharing for first subscriber loss in a decade

Canceled a long time ago as the prices keep going up. Not sharing accounts with anyone. Prices of everything keeps going up so things have to be cut. Not interested in all the new original stuff. YouTube is the main thing we watch. Disney+, Prime, and Apple TV+.

  • Meta to charge content creators almost 50% to sell VR content

Just another reason the metaverse is a failure in concept.
The metaverse concept is a failure just because one company is hypocritically charging creators too much? I’m not following the logic here. The metaverse, or whatever it ends up being called, is the future and it is inevitable. That’s why literally every single tech company on the planet is working on a version of it.
People are complaining about getting sick from the meta verse, so I don’t think it is the future. Maybe after one or two decades if it doesn’t die out. How many 3D movies are watched at home anymore? Add in sexual harassment that is already happening to further dampen things.

  • Updated MacBook Air could launch at WWDC 2022

I don’t think it will be the Air at WWDC.
