  • Magic Keyboard, Magic Trackpad, & Magic Mouse may soon be upgraded with USB-C

Why can’t Apple just make a WIRED extended keyboard?
I don’t want mor3 things to charge. It seems like life revolves around charging various devices.
iPhone, iPad, a number of LED lights scattered around the house, portable vacuum, camera batteries…

Sometimes wired is just plain simple4 and better.

I got a Matias backlit extended keyboard that’s just great.
You can just leave the keyboard and trackpad plugged in.

  • Surgeons say Apple Vision Pro saves them pain and injury

oddly, I don't see the usual people saying Apple needs to give up on such a useless product as AVP.

  • How to detect sleep apnea with Apple Watch

I'd like to see a secondary device that is slim and unobtrusive to wear when you're in bed and your watch is charging then switch them over when you get up. My watch barely lasts the day and certainly wouldn't last the whole night.
I have a fast charger for my watch. I then charge it at night for a little bit before going to sleep and in the morning till it gets to optimized level. It uses much less power at night, so you don’t need much charge, however more charge at night, the less you have to do in the morning.

The latest regular Apple Watch has much better battery life. Of course there is always the ultra for good battery life.

The problem for US users is the latest Apple Watch versions that can do Sleep Apnea, cannot do O2, except early versions of the 9. I prefer keeping O2 as I’ve already been diagnosed with Sleep Apnea.

  • How to use your iPhone's satellite features in an emergency

Might be worth mentioning that Messages with Satellite is only available in the US & Canada.

Emergency SOS is available in other countries however.
Lovely. So if I get this right, if you are in North America you stand a chance of being rescued. But if you are anywhere else on this planet, say lost in the jungles of the Amazon you are s**t out of luck.
If you are in the jungles of the Amazon, you should have prepared yourself better. There are other options out there you know? This was covered before. Should people in North America wait until the rest of the world is ready? Where do the messages go? You need equipment on the other side to receive and push the messages to the right place. You need the satellite base station. The laws have to allow it and you might have to deal with translation issues. A lot needs to be in place to make it happen, and if Apple gets it wrong, big headlines and Apple gets sued.

If both sides are in a dead zone for cellular, then both sites need to be able to send and receive via satellite.

  • Apple Watch Series 10 review roundup: A strong annual upgrade

I was really looking forward to upgrading from my S8 but there’s just no reason. There’s no new sensor that that would warrant it. And the extremely low trade-in prices in S8 only make the decision easier. They offer $130 for my 45mm LTE watch that I just got replaced by Apple 2 weeks ago.

The sleep apnea feature is probably the best reason for the upgrade, but I worn my series 8 day and night for about a year which completely killed the battery making it just crappy enough to be super annoying and not bad enough to get it replaced by Apple with AppleCare plus. Not doing that again.
My series 6 is at 82%, which I charge after waking up and before I go to bed so I can use it overnight and during the day.
