  • Disney hiking price of ESPN+ subscription to $7 a month

I wish someone could tell me what the purpose of ESPN+ is.... You don't even get the ESPN main channels with it - I really don't understand what I would be paying for.
Hear! Hear! I remember being highly interested in the Disney+, HULU, ESPN+ package because I thought ESPN+ DID give you all the ESPN channels. So I have to get the meatier ESPN channels elsewhere to then pay separately for a bunch of overblown "insider" sports stories, reports, and insights I can find elsewhere?! That is audacious thinking by ESPN, IMHO.

I agree...until the main ESPN channels are included, EPSN+ is not worth even $1/month.

  • Apple TV+ drama 'The Mosquito Coast' renewed for second season

I don't agree with some of the comments about ATV+ being a barren desert of content and at best, a repeater. When I tried Disney+, I inevitably asked myself "How many more times do I plan or need to watch the same Star Wars, Marvel, or any Disney movies?" As awesome and classic as those movies are...I've seen them a zillion times (spoiler alert: the endings are always the same). At least w/ ATV+, I'm seeing original stuff, even if at times it feels like I've seen something like it somewhere else.

Would love it if this Podcast subscription was included in the Apple One bundle.

  • T-Mobile launches unlimited 5G Home Internet service

Quick note: just tested my iPhone 8's LTE speed.

    Result: 80Mbps.

Soooo this (low-band) "5G" expects to deliver "up to" 100Mbps and will fall back to LTE when 5G signal is weak or not available.

With the equipment lease, fees, taxes and such, you can expect that $60/mo to climb to around $80/month, easy.

I can't speak for other people, but I'm presently paying $80/month for 300Mbps cable internet. YMMV.

I don't think you read the article fully: "...costing $60 per month without added taxes, fees, contracts, or equipment charges."
