Wow, his should quite an update...an update that requires an update after being promised so many weeks ago and way past their self imposed deadline.
So as you said they at the very least should announce GR, on top of the cure for cancer, discovery of the warp drive, launch of Half Life 3, and the last 2 pending GRRM GoT novels.

edit: have you read at WTF of people increasing their order units on account of the update of the update ?!
Now we have confirmation we will get all these goodies and more ! (and a secret, secret gift...)

Guys, not that he needs any defending, but pls stop the personal attacks at DBK. The last 3-4 days were a bit too much and it ceased to be funny.

You might agree or disagree with him. Or you might not want to read his posts or whatever, but he is never the one who attacks first. I have read mosts of his posts here and at WTF.
He should not be the target of any beef you might have with WT. 

I imagine you are bored waiting for the Update, but baiting DBK and then attacking him seems to be like a sport or something.
The kind of back and forth it generates is mind numbing.

I kindly ask again: let's give it a rest please and talk on the TB when the update is published.

If I tell you I am going to sell you a product and ship it to you next week, and I ask you for money, and you give me your money, and I take your money, and then I go away and I do not respond to you directly ever again, even when you ask me for a status update, and time goes by, and that originally promised week goes by, and another month goes by, and three months go by, and I continue to ignore your inquiries, and I tell you it will ship next month, and that month goes by, and you complain about my delinquency, and so I ban you from speaking to me, and I tell you that if you wait I will give you what you paid for plus a 'free gift', and then I say your product will be shipped next summer, and a year goes by, and still no product, and still no communication, and no free gift, and another year goes by, and still no product, and still no gift, and another year goes by, and another year goes by (this may seem like exaggeration but in fact it is a precise analogy of the situation).....

One of the best summaries of the TB debacle. The only missing piece is that "we happily offer a refund option, even if you don't want it!"and for more than a year the supporters / customers have not even received updates...
