  • The TextBlade keyboard is superb, but you'll have to be patient

Trying to communicate with them is pointless.
Well, I hope not. It does feel discouraging to read some of their renewed passive aggressive posts, but I hope they will start making a stronger effort on the consumer communications front.

I would like to focus more on the TB readiness for the launch rather than all this fighting. Because after more than 300 posts we really do not have any new information. I would like to focus on the details of the status for GR, here at AI for the record.

What verbal violence ? Can you please read all my comments. Do not make stuff up.
You are mentioning me, while I have never addressed you or mentioned you.
Why don't you walk your own talk.

I complain because I feel mistreated by WT. You can read all comments wouldlovetobuy @ WTF or @Arkorott here, and later if you want we can discuss 1-1 where do you see "verbal violence" and where do I see "mistreatment".

A few days ago I offered an olive branch. I was ignored. I even congratulated WT on their civility of some posts, and even encouraged to all of focus or QA on product / company and not personal, attacks, snide comments, or the ridiculous and unproductive arguments back and forth of fora vs forums.

Many current TextBlade users are android users.
Good to know. Is there an App for configuration on Android then ?

Ericpeet - maybe have a look at the bullet points in our post, if you like answers more than questions.  Or perhaps your point is to frame knowns as unknowns.

Alexonline - people have already received properly working units.  Since you don’t have an order, and you say it’s vaporware, it’s curious you still spend time on it.

I DO have an order. And I don't have mine. I am a CUSTOMER. For ME it IS vaporware still....until you SHIP mine after so long.

Stop referring to the TESTERS as CUSTOMERS. Stop misleading people. (Tens of thousands or orders  vs  a few hundred units for TESTING).

Guys, you look bad continuing to reinforce your view on the conspiracy theories, snide comments, etc, please stop.
I recommend stop the accusation / blame game that looks very bad on any company and lets focus on answering the questions without so much inconsequential arguing:

I would like to see more CONCRETE answers to the other more important questions:

1- You shipped to testers exactly how many units out of how many orders ? Why haven't you shipped to the other paid orders for years as you have many pallets as reported ? When will you ship (date) your currently available units.

2- Why have you let the communication / status updates deteriorate dramatically but you still have the time daily to write on the most unrelated and inconsequential (to the TextBlade) topics. (cooktops, helmets, 737 Max crashes, Tesla, Apple, etc etc). ==> Can you provide here in AI a more concrete update please ?

3- Your site continues to mislead in terms of readiness. Still showing FALL as you have sequentially moved from one season to the next the last 4 years. Even the Animation showing "sold" / "estimated" seems to point to a definite time / short term availability / "flying out the shelves" / but in reality is very vague. If you really do not know when you will ship if should read something like: WE DO NOT KNOW WHEN WE WILL BE ABLE TO SHIP. If you do have a date announce it clearly.

You can see the same pattern emerge here, from the same actors.

The same folks who flooded the macrumors forum to overload its editor, and frustrate posters with a steady storm of chaff.  That’s the denial of service in action.

The pattern - throw out twisted half-truths, to prompt corrections. Then claim bullying, when confronted by truth in civil discourse.

Follow it up with a bushel of nit-picking, to bait more contact, and make it mind-numbing enough so there’s no substance left to dine on.

    ...
For some, the mere existence of the product is disquieting, and the ascent of it is a threat.
    ...

Oh my God. You ARE delusional. Please stop. Your are digging your own grave spouting crazy conspiracy theories.

For your own good just ship the TextBlade once and for all, and stop imagining little green evil elves working against you (green because of envy). At least for your own good stop making these crazy thoughts public. It is sad.

Don't you see that by your own words you corroborate what is being said about WayTools as a company?
You REALLY need to change whomever is in charge of communications.

So bottom line put your money where your mouth is: SHIP.

And yes, we can recommend others to be cautious with their money given WayTools track record of not delivering.

    Prove me wrong: SHIP.
