Apple charging extra for future Apple Intelligence features is probable -- but not imminen...
I don’t want to see this rolled into Apple one. I need it to be a separate chargeable feature because I have no use for Apple Music, arcade, fitness, etc. And I don’t want to pay for them just to get Apple Intelligence features. $20 a month would be ridiculous.

I hope superpowered Siri is not restricted to the M3 chip. I have an M2 and I have been waiting for Siri to be updated for many years. Come on Apple, so have many other people been waiting and to restrict it to the newest device would be a really bad look.

I truly hope you are right. Apple didn’t even make mention of series 10th birthday a couple of years ago. Happy to believe that nothing would ever be done to it. They were content to let it languish. ChatGPT et al have forced Apples hand now. I’m glad of it.I foresee a massively upgraded Siri by end of year.
