is this current functionality? I have dual HomePods but don’t have the 4K, just the previous ATV. Am I missing audio features?

What I find utterly misleading is that they never photograph the damn thing with a cable. The way they show the product suggests it has an internal battery and can be placed anywhere, but those cables will stick out like a sore thumb.
