  • Apple Card grew to an estimated 6.4M cardholders at end of 2020

My wife and I both have an Apple credit card and if we are buying something from Apple to get the 3% cash back or Apple Pay for the 2% cash back, it never gets used. I have a chase freedom and capital one quicksilver that gets 1.5% back on all purchases and sometimes they have deals for account credits or Discover like until the end of May I’m getting 5% cash back for gas so not enough incentive for us to make it an everyday card we would constantly use. Yes we keep our balances paid off.

  • Microsoft, Apple feud over xCloud got Shadow pulled from the App Store

This is Apple’s store and I can’t understand why they shouldn’t be able to run it the way they want to. If any government feels they have the right to regulate it then they have to be consistent and regulate everything. I don’t see that happening. I only see them going after Apple’s money.
Good Lord you’re right. Especially the EU. All of this money that have made.people all over the world wealthy either by stocks or being employed by a large tech company and the EU acts like Apple and Google are their private billfolds. Oh we fine Google 5 billion dollars or we try to get 13 billion from Apple for using the currents tax codes to their favor. Change the codes otherwise nothing is accomplished. I just don’t see a lot of stuff, other than niche items, coming from the EU. Although I’ll admit now I probably am wrong on that last part. Just never hear about them.

  • Tile CEO 'welcomes' AirTag competition from Apple's 'runaway monopoly train'

New trolls on arrival it appears, ffs. Go fuck off!

First post, a negative one, did I take a wrong turn and end up back at MacRumors?
So it would seem. Already seen the haters in MacRumors about the replaceable battery and how some company pulled AirTags off the shelf in Australia I believe because: omg think of the children and how they will all die swallowing replaceable batteries. If Apple doesn’t offer replacement batteries in their AirPods they are out to destroy mother earth and no other earbud maker does, at least not samsung bose and jabra and those companies you never hear accusations on how they are destroying the planet.
Then Apple comes out with replaceable batteries in their AirTags and here is all of the drama about how Apple is killing children. OMG think of the children.

I have to agree a bit here with the Tile dude. After a few updates, my Tile were useless for the most part. And so I switched to the AirTags. Not impressed at all. I can hold the AirTag next to the phone and it tells me the signal is weak. WTF Apple. Anyway, maybe I’m holding it wrong. Tile has nothing to worry about if this is the best that Apple cans do. Queue the fanboy flamers…
CJ is that you?  CJ Prober I mean this is the best you can do?

    Never mind. Wrong ATT.
I keep having that problem as well. I see ATT and I automatically go to AT&T mode.
