Wonder why they didn't sue for Nike+, which much more closely resembles the patent described setup.  Both the original version and the iPhone version.

It sounds to me like they are sour grapes about Apple rendering their band product irrelevant, and are taking every step possible to frighten Apple into a high dollar settlement. 

There are individuals that have gotten the 5500/5700 pucks to work under Bootcamp with the 1903 version of Windows, but I haven't had any luck myself.  I haven't tried an EFI approach, but the devices work just fine on the macOS side.

I wasn't aware that there would be a performance difference for an external display vs driving the internal display on a MBP.  

If an app is advertised able to overcome regional restrictions, it is just asking for a government to approach Apple to take the app down.  This policy actually protects developers, but these guys would rather complain about it.  

Apple Care covers lost phones too, but she could have just tried to turn it in as broken.  The freezing water part is what is amazing to me.  Damn good seals.
