While not the designed/intended purpose, I'd love a version that worked as a wireless camera for the iPhone/Mac.  It would be such a convenient product for video calls.

Pretty sure the gloves in the top image are Mujjo.  Comfortable, warm, easily controls a device, but a pain to deal with shipping.  (Particularly if a return is needed.)

As the article points out, this product will have a different use profile when compared to the AR product, which is expected to have more consumer friendly pricing.  Just like there is a market for the Pro Display XDR, there will be a carefully considered market for a high price tag MR product before Apple releases it.

I wonder if they would consider working with Apple, and strategically placing a magnet to simulate the AirPod Max case deep sleep mode.  

The Amazon link is to v1 it appears, which is why it has the original price.  No mention of newer features and a first available date of last spring. 

Anyone have experience with the original camera to give a opinion?  I'm trying to decide on either a smart doorbell or camera for the door to record visitors and call out arrivals or when packages are delivered.
