Apple is one of the most sued entities in the world, so I would think people could be very confident that they have access to excellent representation in court. 

The purpose of this is to try and prevent any future US Justice Department from pursuing the breakup of the company.

This is the real story, Trademark law is notoriously strange and causes behaviour like this quite regularly. (Disney is often mentioned in stories like this)
The problem is there is too much money at stake in Trademark and Patent law to achieve any kind of reasonable reform in Congress, not to mention attempts to make international law in this area. 

While this is available everywhere, the  most useful feature is only available in Ontario for now. It will roll out across the country later. 

The “Outcome” of this will be nothing. Congress is in no position to pass any major bills for the rest of the year.
