Well, considering that Apple already has great homegrown GPUs in the recent Ax SoCs (and those are constrained greatly by power/cooling constraints that are very much relaxed in a laptop or desktop, and considering that Metal2 is 100% optimized for ARM; I'd say that graphics will be just fine...

Now if it rolled-up like a cylinder no more than about 1 inch in diameter (I'm trying to be somewhat realistic), with some portion of the display visible in rollup-mode, then it would be something unique. But this is just something that should have died on the bench; but is suffering from "We spent this much on R&D, so we'd better try and recoup at least some of that money."

Any takers on how many recalls before they finally pull this product?

From what I have read (not connected with this case), SAIC is chock-full of ex(?)-CIA people, and works on all-sorts of questionable stuff for the Gummint.

The fact that they are a Patent Troll on top of all of it is as unsurprising as it is unscrupulous.

Sounds like the Appeals Court Judge got a "talking-to"...
