Blackmagic Design has developed the first end-to-end solution for shooting Apple Vision Pr...
Well this is intriguing. I’m curious if there is only one lens focal length permitted - perhaps like how Cinerama only used a tiny 28mm lens to mimic the human eye perception. I would hope that eventually there would be a way to get telephoto lenses. Regardless, this could be a compelling end-to-end process. I usually detest VR and stereoscopic films/video, but I’ve actually made a few in C4D with live action shoots and they were really fun. As long it doesn’t demand the viewer to don the glasses/headset for over 30 min. -

ICQ 1996-2024: The first universal messenger had a good run, and is leaving us soon

Mac Pro and Mac Studio refreshes may wait till 2025
M1 Ultra owner here. It makes sense that the M4 Ultra/Extreme will be early next year. I agree that the M4 Pro and Max will be announced at WWDC, then shipped third quarter with the new iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. I’d be good with this roadmap for upgrading my M1 Ultra. What I’d love to see is an iPadOS change up where you attach the MagicKeyboard thus activating a macOS Lite that will run full Mac apps, but only when the MK is attached. -
iPad Pro hands on: Luxury technology in an impossibly-thin package
I sincerely hope we see a change of heart from Apple with macOS support when attached to the Magic Keyboard. In fact, if the only way we could get macOS “emulation” was we HAD to use only their Magic Keyboard, I’d be fine with that lock-in.
But perhaps companies like Adobe and Maxon could iPadify more of their desktop apps.
