  • Blender is building a full-featured iPad app, but it's not clear when it will be released

I've been using Blender for over a decade and wrote Apple many times to complain for how comically bad Blender support was on Apple devices for many years (like when GPUs couldn't be used because Apple prematurallly deprecated support).

Why did you write Apple and not Blender?
Because Apple screwed up by prematurely deprecating support before making sure that major 3D applications like Blender would work with those new libraries. I bought a PC just to be able to use Blender and other 3D apps. Imagine having applications that can’t see your GPU and the performance hit you take. Blender is not responsible for the OS. Blender is not some generic app it’s very important in the 3D community because it’s free and very versatile.

I've been using Blender for over a decade and wrote Apple many times to complain for how comically bad Blender support was on Apple devices for many years (like when GPUs couldn't be used because Apple prematurallly deprecated support). So it's great to see Mac support improving over time and now Blender coming to iPads. Sculpting and Grease Pencil are the obvious candidates for iPad support and the Blender Foundation will hopefully start with an iPad companion app to Blender first before trying to bring all of Blender over to iOS.

  • Mastercard may be in for a fight to stay Apple Card network provider

Goldman Sachs has done a lousy job with this card. I've never had so little credit on a card and I have great credit and never missed a payment. I had to convince them to at least raise the credit so that I could  buy an Apple M2 MacAir at the time. I wanted a larger SSD but had to settle for less because with tax is exceeded the minor amount they raised it by. Now I want to buy a VisionPro but can't be bothered to ask them again to raise my credit again. I've never had to ask a bank twice to increase the credit amount because the amount of credit extended is usually a five figure amount.  I know that if Apple would work with AMEX or Chase then the card wouldn't be crippled the way this card is for me at this point.
