  • Japan law is forcing more browser choice on iPhone in December

Apple is eventually going to have to stop the nonsense worldwide.  They need to stop fighting users and allow normal software installation.  It's MY iPhone, not Apple's iPhone.
Yes, Apple is going to have to stop the nonsense worldwide, and start charging all developers license fees for any and every part of Apple's IP that is used in any application they develop -- in other words go old school.  Of course that will absolutely eliminate any free software and in fact eliminate any software from any but the largest best funded software development corporations.  That will make all the politicians and big corporations happy -- they'll be getting there money.  The average user will be screwed of course, but who cares about them.

  • Apple appeal to pause injunction enforcement allowing external linking fails

Further evidence that the United States Constitution is no longer relevant, nor the guiding document of the law in the Untied States of America.  Watch out Amazon, Google, Target, Walmart, and every other business owner in America, they'll be coming for you in the future...

  • Epic resubmits 'Fortnite' to the App Store for review, as its initial request seemingly ig...

I hope Apple continues to ignore Epic, not because I have anything against Fortnite being on the App Store, but this brings more attention to Apple and its abuse of its platform. So Apple, please carry on!
"Apple and its abuse of its platform"?  I think you mistyped there.  Don't you mean "Apple and abuse of its platform"?  It's Epic that abused the platform and not Apple.  The court even ruled that it was okay for Apple to ban Epic from the Apple App Store because EPIC violated the developer's agreement.

And who is really violating whose rights?  By its latest ruling the court has clearly stated that it doesn't give a shit about the 5th and 14th Amendments to the US Constitution, so when the government decides to take YOUR property and doesn't compensate you, you won't complain, right?

And by the way, I very well could be wrong, but isn't submitting your app from a different account after your account was banned a violation of the developer's agreement?  So, couldn't Apple just ban the EPIC Sweden account now?

Oh, I forgot, people like you don't think companies like Apple have any legal or contract rights because "Apple bad" is as far as your mind is able to go.

Why am I still surprised when people post stuff like this?

  • Apple tests EU by adding scare screens to apps using third-party payments [u]

I find it curious that something that tells you a fact that is absolutely true is referred to as a "scare screen."

Also why would this be a scare screen for people who are intentionally looking for apps that don't use Apple's eco-structure?

Amd finally, does anyone know whether the EU has something like the 5th and 14th amendments to the US Constitution that explicitly prevent the government and the courts from forcing someone to provide things to others without compensation?  --- Oh, wait, I guess that doesn't matter, we don't follow those rules in the US anymore so why should the EU?

  • Epic vs. Apple: What Apple is being forced to do to the App Store

I was going to post a comment about this before all the Apple haters jumped in and started spouting nonsense about this being a big win for developers and consumers, but then I decided why bother.  It's obvious we're all screwed anyway.  This isn't even a big enough issue to be a bump in the road.
