I got a SteelSeries Nimbus+ controller partly due to this review. Unfortunately mine worked for less than 1 day and then died. 

The SteelSeries support people were responsive at first, but once it was clear that the controller was bricked, they stopped responding to my messages. Then they ignored me for 7 days. When they finally got back to me, their customer service had no apologies for their unresponsiveness or the product failure, just generic instructions for a warranty replacement.  Meanwhile I did some research and found several other customers with similar experiences: Nimbus+ controllers that died within a few days or weeks, or even right out of the box.

Since I felt I couldn't trust their product quality, and their customer support was terrible, I took the controller back to the store and got a refund. I ended up getting a Sony DualShock 4 controller, and it's worked flawlessly with my AppleTV 4K and my iMac. Two lessons I learned from this: (1) don't let "Made for iPhone" (MFi) certification fool you, and (2) don't buy from SteelSeries.
