  • Apple hourly workers feel helpless under punishing pressure & mistreatment

Apple must stop the bs and put in practice what it preaches. I have been a long-time customer of Apple (Mac's, IPads, IPhones, IPods, Airpods, etc, etc, etc.) for myself and every member of my family and I must say that I was thoughghly upset when I read about how Apple is treating its front-line employees. This is how American capitalism has run amok and failed the very large majority of citizens: the obscene enrichment of a very few to the detriment of the rest. This is outrageous in light of Cook, Federici & al pocketing their hundreds of $Millions in remuneration and stock options on the back of their front-line employees. This must stop or else....

  • iPadOS 15 confirms Apple's M1-equipped iPad Pro is a V8 engine powering a Ford Pinto

Don't get me wrong, I've been a Mac user for over 20 years now. But this does not mean that Apple or its products are perfect. The IPadOS is inhibiting the M1 IPad Pro from reaching its true potential. Period. And whether you like it or not, Apple is behaving in the exact same way that Bill Gates ran Microsoft in his heydays: like a true monopolist. They game the tax system around the world, like every other rapacious multinational corporation currently ruining our planet. They pretend to be concerned about privacy because their business model allows them to prioritize privacy without hurting their bottom line all the while hurting the bottom line of their competitors. Apple only addresses its user's demands when its competitors start addressing these demands in a meaningful way. Apple will not give its users a proper OS for the IPad Pro's until a competitor shows up with something compelling that may sway Apple users. Microsoft 365 may very well force Apple to finally relent in equipping its IPad Pro's with a true Pro OS. Although far from perfect, Windows 365 would allow IPad Pro users to enjoy the benefit of a fully capable OS with a fully capable file system, with real pro apps.

With the announcement of Windows 365, which is essentially a full Windows PC in the cloud (up to 16 GB RAM and 512 GB of storage) that will run on any platform that offers a web browser, Including Mac's, IPads and IPhones, If Apple continues to insist in dummying down IPadOS, many users of the M1 IPad Pro will seek a full PC OS experience by simply running Windows 365 through a web browser on the IPad. The lack of true support for external monitors on IPadOS will mean that running Windows 365 on the IPad will be limited to 4:3 ratio on external monitors, but at least, users will get true PC apps like Windows Explorer, Office, Photoshop, etc. The only problem is that these will be Windows apps and not Mac apps. The rollout of Windows 365 may very well force Apple to unleash the true power of the M1 Ipad Pro with a much more capable IPadOS, one that is basically MacOS + touch abilities.
