WHATAPP is a surveillance app in its own right -- unless one believes everywhere where you go, what you type, almost everyone you know, almost everything you buy (among others) recorded into a single profile of you isn't surveillance.

With that said, this guy is absolutely right. Apple was wimpy on this, feeble. They put out a media department canned answer. Apple doesn't scour and record everything you do in order to monetize iit and this is their response? Weak...  

Anyone in authority who says to you "you have nothing to fear if you are law abiding" is someone you better be very Leary of. History is littered with people put in prison because they thought wrong. This is a multi thousand year old truth. There's thousands upon thousands of laws on the books. You have broken a law (often unknowingly) it is a mathematical certainty. The book (and the gray areas in the book) can and may be used against you. That's a fact. 

If someone in authority asks you a question, never! ever! believe "I have nothing to concern myself with, I haven't done anything". Great reading at the institute for Justice that can arise you of that reality.

Pretty well documented that he’s been battling Bipolar Disorder for a long time. He’s even rapped about having suicidal thoughts in previous albums during bouts of extreme depression.

But he’s obviously not getting the treatment he needs. He’s getting people excusing, and enabling, and forgiving because he’s rich and powerful. 

The entertainment industry by its nature attracts those who are mentally outside the norm. Their abnormalcy (for lack of a better term) can be what gives them the ability to 'create' for the "normal". But that same entertainment industry has been using up and spitting out people for many years. Go back 80 years to Judy Garland. Hell, they even badly used the Three Stooges. It's often a very ugly business behind the scenes. If one don't have someone seasoned that is looking out for you and you can trust, you generally are wide open to be used up by an industry that will seam bigger than life to the next big 'star'.

Shockingly, teenagers do stupid things.
How you fix teenage stupidity is with the right kind of penalty. it is not by putting them into juvie to make them hone their stupid skills and prepare them for prison system revolving door. You give them 6 months of weekend nasty garbage can scrubbing at the airport. That is was can hopefully fix the teenage mind before teenager becomes adult living on the destructive teat of criminal justice inc.
