macOS Sequoia review: the first macOS with more potential than new features
"But it may also be that elements such as the window tiling won't be supported. It seems unlikely that the iPhone Mirroring feature will be supported on every one of these Macs, either."
Window tiling works on Intel Macs. It works on my 2020 iMac 27". iPhone Mirroring works on any Mac that has the T2 chip. It also works well on my iMac 2020. However, it seems mostly as a gimmick, so I don't think I would ever use it. I would rather grab the phone and use it.
Would be nice if the reviewer knew what actually worked on Macs. There are still millions of Intel Macs in use today. I am not concerned about Apple Intelligence on my Mac.

iOS 18 review: Good, but better with Apple Intelligence
apple4thewin said:I think that is a little harsh of a score considering last os spread a bunch of small features across the year while this year’s os update is 3-4 big updates with this initial update followed by 2-3 big AI updates
Edit: yes i know this score is based on 18.0 not 18.1 but I feel like it should be scored on the current features not on the wait for a future feature. -

The Photos app is a hot mess. Why is 3/4 of the screen taken up with my entire photo library of 60K photos? How does that make finding photos easier? Now I have to scroll down to find the albums synced over from my Mac, and the Recents album (formerly known as Camera Roll) is completely gone, again. Now we have Recent Days so now it is harder to find the 'Camera Roll' showing you only the photos you took with the iPhone. They are all mixed together as a big mess. And they claim this is now easier to find photos?
