  • New Apple TV+ studio buildings taking shape in Culver City

The news of expanded office space follows a report that Apple TV+ budgets are being cutbecause the service is losing Apple money
On the one hand there are a lot of Apple TV shows I really like and I’m glad they exist.

On the other hand, if Apple had invested this amount of money in buying or building a AAA game studio, I bet they’d be profitable or at least closer to it.

Apple could just open a division instead and have multiple studios working under it, for example, those that made the Sasquatch game (make it the unofficial, official Apple mascot like Nintendo with Mario and PlayStation with Astro Bot) and a couple of other smaller studios. Or do what other rumors suggest and just outright buy Ubisoft.

  • EU will force Apple to totally expose its iPhone features to all who ask

There's a real simple solution here: Apple should just make a separate model, the iPhone eu, sold only in the EU, with it's own version of iOSeu, that has no privacy protections, very few features, and complies with their stupid DMA, but doesn't give away any intellectual property. When it becomes riddled with bugs, malware, spyware, let it crash and burn.

When they see the rest of Apple's customers worldwide moving on, EU customers will have to make their choice, and remove those responsible for this obnoxious DMA policy, and repeal or modify the DMA to be more practical.
At this point, just a separate OS EU keep the models so they still sell, but with the OS region locked to the EU, so if you leave, you can’t use the iPhone, and other iPhones get notified that they are communicating with an unencrypted user.

    Control: Ultimate Edition

    Control: Ultimate Edition

is a shooter, that contains the main game and all previously released expansions. It's presently listed on the Mac App Store for $40.

It's already shipped for Windows, and is available on Steam for $9.99, with a full price of $39.99 -- the same as the Mac App Store. It's not clear if Crossplay on Steam will be available.

Control isn't a multiplayer game, what crossplay would there be?

EDIT: Do you mean if the Steam version will be updated to work on both Mac and Windows?  I don't know if there's a word for that, beyond "supported platforms", but I've never heard crossplay used in that context.
    Maybe they meant save data?

  • Folding iPhone will probably cost more than the Mac Studio

$1999 is the most likely Apple pricing. Unless Apple is hiding some massive feature, even $1799 seems like the most reasonable pricing.
