  • Apple regains its $3 trillion valuation despite analysts doubts

Coincidentally, I just bought 100 shares of Apple. I don't see anyone challenging their dominance in the phone or computer markets.

Creating an ecosystem like Apple's would cost hundreds of billions of dollars; I don't see any company willing and able to put forth that kind of cash.

  • Apple's iPhone parts pairing is making the company billions

Many of the iPhone's sub-systems like the displays and cameras are highly complex devices that would be very difficult for a third party to duplicate while preserving the quality Apple's customers expect. Some may also contain calibration data that resides in the phone memory and hence that's why you can't swap modules from phone to phone and expect them to work properly.

Knock-off batteries and power adapters can also pose a safety hazard to users and I would highly recommend only purchasing the Apple versions of these even if they cost a few bucks more.

This woman's mere existence on the payroll proves that Apple is wasting money on these efforts which are nothing more than virtue signaling. "Carbon emissions" go hand-in-hand with a productive, developed economy; those who obsess over carbon emissions would have us living in the stone age. No thanks.

You have to remember that this notion of carbon emissions going hand-in-hand with economic development is flat out false. Carbon neutral means that method of production of energy comes from carbon neutral energy sources, rather than fossil fuels.
If carbon-neutral sources were more economical than "renewables" like wind and solar, we'd be using them already, and China wouldn't be building 7 new coal plants every week. The only way renewables can compete is if carbon taxes or other government "thumb on the scale" schemes are put in place to shift the economics of fossil fuels. "Climate change" is a false externality created by those who've been trying to get rid of fossil fuels for as long as I can remember--which is almost 60 years.

I've pretty much given up on Siri for anything other than placing calls to people in my Favorites list. If I want to do an internet-based search for information, I use Google Assistant. It's voice recognition is 10X better than Siri, and it speaks the search results vs. Siri's "...here's what I found on the internet..."
You have also given up on privacy, but that may be OK as long as you do not mind adding your questions to your tracking profile.
My voice search is the same as what it would have been had I chose to type it in, so there's no difference in privacy. And if Google wants to track that I once asked how tall Taylor Swift is, I couldn't care less.
