I’d steer clear of calling anything “original.” Especially now. Those of us who’ve admired Apple since the dawn aren’t just disappointed — we’re in mourning. What we grieve is the loss of boldness, of risk, of that relentless push into the unknown. What’s missing isn’t nostalgia. It’s vision.

Under Tim Cook, Apple isn’t innovating — it’s iterating. Evolving products, not creating the future. It’s disheartening for those of us who’ve followed Apple since the days of garage-born rebellion.

We can only hope that when Tim steps down, his successor won’t be another operator or engineer — but a true visionary.

I had hoped that Humane AI, born from the minds of ex-Apple renegades, might find its way back into Apple’s orbit — a chance to fulfill its potential with the backing it deserved. But no. HP bought it.

And we all know what that means.

What to expect, when to expect it? I would suggest that you can expect the folding phone and iPad to be delivered around the same time as your Apple Car.
