  • Apple's folding iPad or MacBook: What to expect, and when it will ship

    Said every troll very unoriginally.
I’d steer clear of calling anything “original.” Especially now. Those of us who’ve admired Apple since the dawn aren’t just disappointed — we’re in mourning. What we grieve is the loss of boldness, of risk, of that relentless push into the unknown. What’s missing isn’t nostalgia. It’s vision.

You've struck the apple right at its core.

Under Tim Cook, Apple isn’t innovating — it’s iterating. Evolving products, not creating the future. It’s disheartening for those of us who’ve followed Apple since the days of garage-born rebellion.

We can only hope that when Tim steps down, his successor won’t be another operator or engineer — but a true visionary.

I had hoped that Humane AI, born from the minds of ex-Apple renegades, might find its way back into Apple’s orbit — a chance to fulfill its potential with the backing it deserved. But no. HP bought it.

And we all know what that means.

Stroll through HP’s campus in Palo Alto, and you’ll find the HP Cemetery. Among the headstones now reads:

    Humane AI

    Born 2022. Died 2024.

What to expect, when to expect it? I would suggest that you can expect the folding phone and iPad to be delivered around the same time as your Apple Car.

  • Odd Apple Maps bug showing users random airport baggage claim spots

Isn't this more of the same, i.e. Deja Vu, where Apple Maps directed motorists to an underpass straight into incoming flights  :D :D

  • John Giannandrea out as Siri chief, Apple Vision Pro lead in

Is he on temporary leave or just straight up out of there? (As in completely fired)
Probably strolling the halls. Well, not exactly strolling the halls, but walking around in circles at Apple Park.

As an aside if you are the boss - read: Mr Tim - you demote a subordinate - read: John - and clear the decks and air. You don't commit Hara Kiri and fire yourself.  :D :D
